Identity Verification.
Layer behavioral signals on top of KYC/KYB checks for enhanced fraud prevention.
Identity verification confirms who the user claims to be; ABIS confirms they behave like that person. Together, they detect sophisticated fraud that either layer alone would miss.
Synthetic identity fraud passes identity verification (documents are valid) but fails behavioral analysis (behavior doesn't match claimed demographics). Account takeover passes behavioral baseline (same device/location) but fails identity re-verification.
Layer correlation reveals attacks: valid identity + anomalous behavior = account takeover; invalid identity + normal behavior = synthetic identity; valid identity + normal behavior = legitimate user.
DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
Verify identity documents are authentic. Detects forged/stolen documents but not synthetic identities.
BIOMETRIC CHECK
Confirm user matches document photo. Prevents use of stolen documents by different person.
BEHAVIORAL BASELINE
ABIS compares current behavior to historical baseline. Detects account takeover even with valid credentials.
DEMOGRAPHIC CORRELATION
Match behavioral patterns to claimed demographics. Synthetic identities often have behavioral inconsistencies.
